Our Story
Founded in 1945 by Mary Heginbotham, Lees Heginbotham & Sons Ltd has grown from a small family venture in Oldham into a trusted name in carpets and floor coverings across the UK. For generations, we’ve built our reputation on quality products, honest service, and expert installation. Today, we continue to uphold the same family values, providing reliable flooring solutions to suit any and all requirements nationwide.
The original building where Lees Heginbotham & Sons Ltd began more than 80 years ago has seen many transformations. Once a busy carpet warehouse and later a cutting and stitching room for traditional broadloom and body carpets, it has now been carefully redeveloped into our modern showroom and purpose‑built offices.
Today, the space proudly showcases some of the finest floor coverings available, including Authentic Woven Axminsters, Woven Wiltons, heavy domestic vinyl, and premium vinyl tiles such as Karndean, Amtico and Cavalio. We also carry an extensive selection of wool twist carpets and luxurious soft‑touch ranges.
Despite changes over the decades, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to Oldham. Staying rooted here allows us to maintain the strong relationships we’ve built with customers across generations.
