Your Amtico Journey

When choosing a product such as Amtico you need to know that what your choosing is right for you and, once you’ve chosen your product, that everything else will be taken care of right up to the finished article. With this page we aim to explain what we offer when choosing Amtico (and to a certain extent other luxury vinyl tiles) right down to the very tiny but very important last details.

So lets get started….

1. The Showroom Sensation

Tucked away in a little corner of Oldham is our showroom. When you arrive you will be greeted not only by our staff, but the vast selection of Amtico sampling available. Feel free to browse through the Amtico Spacia, Signature and Form stands. Offering all the latest styles and trends in wood, stone and abstract designs. If you’re unsure about what best suits your space, try Amtico’s room visualiser to give the best impression possible befoire making that all important decision.

2. Expert Measuring Service

Once you’ve perused the vast selection Amtico has to offer, we will offer our no obligation measuring service at a time and date to suit you.

We will check everything that would be required for us to prepare, supply then install your dream floor. Whilst on site we will discuss and advise on subfloor preparation that is required to make the floor as level as possible ready for the new flooring, what type of adhesive we would use, your preferred laying direction for the tiles as well as styles/colours of door trims where the product meets exising floor coverings.

After we have discussed all of your requirements, it’s back to our office were we will type up a detailed quotation, and either post or email to you so you can deliberate at your leisure.

3. Installation- The Master Installers

 After the quotation has been accepted* we will arrange a fit date with you. This can depend on the area you are having fitted and the completxity of the design. Some take longer than others (but Rome wasn’t built in a day!)

On the day of installtion we may ask you to ensure all delicate items have been removed, however, if there are things that you are struggling to move, the fitting team will of course lend a hand**. After that sit back and relax as the fitter carries out their work.

Our fitters are Amtico trained and employed by Lees Heginbotham (not subcontracted) for complete peace of mind. Once the fitter is finished they will ask you to check the work over and ensure you are completely satisifed.

4. The Finished Article 

Once the work has been completed we will provide an Amtico warranty registration card for your new floor so you can register the product and ensure that it is guaranteed for its lifetime.

Should you come across any discrepancies in the installation just give our office a call and we will arrange to have it looked at and rectified at the soonest possible opportunity.

We will also offer a cleaning and maintenance kit for your new floor specifically designed for the Amtico products to ensure it always looks its best. Amtico also offer specifically designed floor matts to catch any particularly heavy dirt/water.
